I am a fan of discovering new things, new people, but also new stories. So that being a core element of a business always makes me smile.
But what and why did I change my focus with my own business to streamers?
I always felt like streamers would be a great group to invest time in. People stream from all types of ages and backgrounds in one place. And after I began to stream myself I enjoyed it a lot. Streaming for me became kind of a way for me to share my own art, tell a story to the world and explore it with people around me. And I was happy I did. Due to streaming I met quite a few people. From video game streamers to art streamers to even music, everything was there.
But, I felt pretty unseen, even if I shared content, send and tweeted everything, ran events, podcasts and all. It never picked up pace. But I knew that. I knew it would always be a struggle.
What do I do with Glimesh?
You may be wondering why this company has become part of my brand too, of my Twitter name and my website. Well, short term. Glimesh is new, a new experience for many.
But for me, I joined a team. Back in October I saw a tweet come out of them asking for team members. It immediately began to tickle. Glimesh, why not sign up and become part of the team. I speak two languages, moderated various different communities. Got connections all around me. I think I would be fit for this team. So I joined, and here I am, part of the Glimesh Community Team. And I’m wholeheartedly proud of making this choice. Even when the roads are not always easy, even if I’m not easy as a person. I believe In this team and I believe in me being able to do this.
